Officer Vinson with the Plymouth Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle Wednesday, April 19th at about 7 p.m. at the intersection of Oak and Harrison Streets.

During the investigation, methamphetamine, paraphernalia, and marijuana were located in the vehicle. Both occupants of the vehicle were transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked in with the following charges.

Ronald Clemons 37 of 4B Road in Walkerton was arrested for Possession of Marijuana, Driving While Suspended with a Prior, Possession of methamphetamine, and Possession of Paraphernalia.  He is being held on a $1,500 cash bond.

Adam Hardesty, 39 of Albion was lodged in jail for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Paraphernalia.  His cash bond was also set at $1,500. 

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
