Earlier this month the Plymouth Community School Board approved the summer school proposal presented by Superintendent Mitch Mawhorter.

Summer school for students in grades kindergarten through 6th grade June 5th through June 23rd. The program will have students exploring the areas of science, reading, and math.  Summer school for students in grades 9 through 12 will be in two sessions.  The first session will be June 12th through June 30th and the second session will be July 10th through July 28th.  Course offerings for high school students will be decided in the coming month.

When asked about summer school for Lincoln Junior High students, Superintendent Mitch Mawhorter said, “We do not have any 7th graders attending summer school, and the 8th grade is considered as 9th graders.”
