Plymouth Mayor Mark Senter is pleased to announce that he will be this year’s speaker for the Annual Prayer Breakfast to be held on Thursday, May 4th at 6:30 a.m. at REES Theatre.  The proceeds will benefit the local Boy Scouts of America Troops and Packs.  Tickets for the event will be $20 each.

Call Laura at 574-936-6717 to purchase your tickets.

The keynote speaker will be Mayor Mark Senter.  Mayor Senter is ending the last year of his fourth term.  Prior to taking office Mayor Senter retired from 28 years on the Indiana State Police – 21 of those as a detective.  In that capacity, he worked for two years on the Cold Case Squad, a 6-year member of the ISP Meth Lab Team, and 9 years on the Critical Incident Stress Management Team.

He is a graduate of Indianapolis Northwest High School in 1974 and Vincennes University in 1976.

As mayor, he has brought with him from law enforcement, “face-to-face” problem-solving.  “I would much rather go to the person’s home and talk about their problem in person rather than over the phone or email.  You get a much truer picture of the situation and the Citizens of Plymouth love the personal contact.”

Mayor Mark and his wife Leanne have 2 children, Riley & Megan.  Riley is married to his wife, Brooke, and they have a daughter, Lena.
