Tuesday afternoon, April 18th at about 1:15 Plymouth Police were dispatched to 2505 North Oak Drive, Walmart, about a theft complaint.

Officer Lovely conducted an investigation, it was discovered that suspect Christine Wyatt, 52, of Hickory Street in Walkerton was attempting to leave all points of sale with unpaid merchandise.

Wyatt was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail where she was booked for theft.  She was released about 7:30 in the evening after posting the cash bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
