APEX will begin picking up at 6:00 AM on Saturday, May 6, 2023. Be sure to have your garbage out the night before. Town cleanup will be limited to 1 large item (ex: couch, dresser, mattress & box spring (taken as set as one item), etc.) per household or the equivalent of 3 – 95 gallon carts of extra trash.
Things APEX will not pick up are listed below:
- Electronics (TV, Computer, VCR, etc.)
- Refrigerators
- Freezers
- Air Conditioners
- Concrete/Bricks/Blocks
- Construction Debris
- Lawn and Yard Waste (Grass, Leaves, Tree Limbs)
- Tires
- Paint
- Heavy Metal or Pipe
- Liquid Waste (Oil, Anti-freeze)
If you have more than 1 large item, you can call APEX at 574-896-2739 to arrange a pick-up at your own cost. If you have items that are on the list of things APEX will not pick up you can call the Recycle Depot in Plymouth at 574-935-8618. Their rate sheet is available on their website: www.myrecycledepot.org.
