The Marshall County Council will meet Thursday at 6 p.m. in the second-floor meeting room of the County Building. 

On the agenda for the meeting is the 2022 annual report from Ty Adley for the Plan Commission and the 1st Quarter Report for 2023. 

There are several requests to apply for grants.  Jim Bendy head of the Probation Department will request to apply for the Indiana Office of Court Services Pre-Trial grant and Faith Freed from the Health Department is wanting to apply for the Supplemental Workforce in Schools Grant and Supplemental Immunization Funding grant.  Deb VanDeMark and Greg Hildebrand from the County Park Department will be applying for the NIPSCO Environmental Action grant and Janice Holiday from the Marshall County Council on Aging will discuss the 2024 INDOT application. 

The County Council will hear the quarterly report from Marshall County Economic Development Corporation Executive Director Greg Hildebrand and they will consider the transfer and additional appropriations requests and hear a report from the Job Classification & Compensation Committee with an amendment to the 2023 Salary Ordinance.
