A Walkerton man was arrested by Plymouth Police on April 7th after a traffic stop at the intersection of Jefferson and Walnut Streets. 

At about 11:30 Friday night Officer Schieber stopped a vehicle that had been driving without headlights and during the investigation, the driver was identified as 29-year-old Cody Desbrough.

As a result of the investigation, Desbrough was arrested for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated, Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated- Endangering, and Operating While Intoxicated-Over .15. Cody Desbrough was transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on a $1,500 cash bond. His bond was paid and Desbrough was released at about 9:45 Saturday morning. 

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
