53-year-old Martin Divens of Lakeville turned himself in at the Plymouth Police Department on April 5th at 2 o’clock in the afternoon for an active warrant for his arrest.

The Failure to Appear warrant was confirmed by Detective McIntire and Divens was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail.

James Graves Jr., 51, and Leila Chew, 33, both of the 1400 block of West Madison Street in Plymouth were arrested for Level 6 Felony-Neglect of a Dependent change on April 5th.

They were taken into custody without incident and transported to the Marshall County Jail by Detective McIntire with the Plymouth Police Department.  Each one was held on a $750 cash bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
