Plymouth Police Officer John Weir arrested a Plymouth man on Tuesday after she stopped a vehicle with Illinois license plates that were suspended.
The traffic stop happened at the intersection of Western Avenue and North Street just before 9 a.m.
While speaking with the driver, Officer Weir found that he had never possessed a valid driver’s license.
29-year-old Santiago Gonzalez Fernandez of the 200 block of East Jefferson Street was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail. He was booked for Operator Never Licensed and released at about 11:30 after paying a cash bond.
