Indiana Department of Transportation contractor F.H. Paschen, S.N. Nielsen & Associates LLC will begin a bridge deck overlay project on State Road 331 over GTW/CN Railroad on or after Monday, April 3.
State Road 331 will have alternating road closures between Cleveland Rd and Douglas Rd while work is occurring. Work will begin with shoulder strengthening to support future traffic configurations. One lane will remain open in each direction through the duration of the project, which will be ongoing through mid-August.
Motorists should be prepared for changing traffic patterns in the area. INDOT encourages drivers to allow extra time when driving through this area and follow traffic directions carefully. Motorists should slow down, exercise caution and drive distraction-free through all work zones.
