H.R. 1 is House Republicans’ signature legislation for the 118th Congress, and it passed the U.S. House of Representatives by a bipartisan vote earlier today: “American energy independence is a matter of national security and economic security. Unfortunately, since day one President Biden has gone to war on American energy, putting the left’s radical climate agenda above commonsense. His backwards policies have made us more reliant on hostile nations and some of the worst polluters in the world for our energy needs while driving up costs for working families. “That’s why H.R. 1 is so important.
