Getting kids involved in the past is one of the main objectives of the Marshall County Historical Society.  Children were invited to participate in a four-week program featuring mastodons and fossils found in Marshall County and Indiana.  Those who completed PREHISTORIC MARSHALL COUNTY are invited to view the movie “Ice Age” on Saturday, February 18 at no cost at The REES Theatre in downtown Plymouth.  A limited number of tickets will be offered to the public at the 2:00 p.m. showing and again at a 7:00 p.m. presentation.

Set during the days of the Pleistocene ice age, the three main characters – Manny, a no-nonsense woolly mammoth; Sid, a loudmouthed ground sloth; and Diego, a sardonic saber-toothed cat – come across a human baby and work together to return it to its tribe. And poor hapless Scrat, a speechless “saber-toothed squirrel” is perpetually searching for a place in the ground to bury his acorn.

“Ice Age” is being shown in collaboration with the Marshall County Historical Society  Museum.   Mark your calendars and join the fun!

Admission is $5.00 for those over 12.  Children under 12, accompanied by a ticketed adult are free.

Tickets can be purchased at the door or at reestheatre.com.
