Plymouth’s Cemetery Superintendent, Mike Collins opened quotes during Monday evening’s Board of Public Works and Safety meeting for a Utility Vehicle that is in his 2023 budget.

Collins sought quotes from Bobcat of Fort Wayne, Bobcat of Michiana, and Bobcat of Warsaw.  He will be trading in a 1986 backhoe and a Bobcat 3650 with all its attachments.

The utility vehicle he received quotes for was a UW56 Bobcat Toolcat.  It comes with a snowblade, snow blower, bucket, forks, and a dump bed.

The quotes with the trade-ins were:

Bobcat of Warsaw $55,508.66

Bobcat of Fort Wayne $47,252

Bobcat of Michiana $41,121.64.

Superintendent Collins asked to take the bids under advisement for review and then award the purchase to the lowest and most responsive bidder.  The Board of Public Works and Safety approved his request.
