In preparation for the upcoming winter storm event, an “Advisory” level travel advisory has been put into place.  An “Advisory” level travel advisory is the lowest level of local travel advisory and means that routine travel or activities may be restricted in areas because of a hazardous situation, and individuals should use caution or avoid those areas.
The “Winter Storm Advisory” issued by the National Weather Service remains in place from 4:00 AM Wednesday morning through 8:00 PM Wednesday evening.  Snow is forecast ot begin in our area around 4:00 AM Wednesday morning and will intensify to approximately 1 in. per hour through lunch time.  Additional snow accumulation will continue into the evening hours.  Estimated snow totals are between 3-6 inches for Marshall County. 
Travel conditions will be hazardous.   Use caution and drive for conditions.
