Vicki M. Maybee, 81, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Catherine Kasper Life Center, Donaldson.
Born on March 15, 1941 in Plymouth, Indiana she was the daughter of Victor Hawkins and Rosemary (Quinn) Hawkins. She attended West High School graduating with the class of 1959.
On New Year’s Day in 1984 she married Gary Maybee at Blissville Church in Tyner. Vicki worked for Bomarko for 16 years before retiring.
Known as a loving, giving, outgoing and a hardworking woman that absolutely loved her family. Vicki had a wonderful green thumb and you could find her tending to her garden meticulously. She also enjoyed a good book, going to auctions and spending time with her beloved golden retrievers. Above all she was a great woman of faith.
She is survived by her husband Gary of Plymouth; children: Tammie Radican of Plymouth; Jan (Mary Lee) Gustafson Jr. of Plymouth; Beth (Tom) Kollars of Plymouth; brothers: Kevin Bauman of Ft. Wayne; Jon (Dotty) Hawkins of Plymouth; step-sister Roseanna (Fred) Jean; grandchildren: Christian Radican, Ian Radican, Kailey (Andrew) Hacha, Kara (Hayden) Costa; great-grandchildren: Luke Hacha, Peter Hacha and Boone Costa
She is preceded in death by her parents, step-mother Ruby Hawkins, sister Hazel Scott and step-brother Stan (Judy) Marks.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2023 from 4-7 pm at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 27, 2023 at 11 am with Pastor Scott Yoder officiating.
Burial will take place in the Tyner Cemetery, Tyner.
