During their meeting on Tuesday, the Marshall County Commissioners read proclamations recognizing two employees that work for the county’s Building and Grounds Department.

Ria Salazar and Virginia Morie became U.S. citizens on December 14th

Commissioner Klotz read the proclamation that said, “The Marshall County Board of Commissioners, personally and on behalf of Marshall County congratulate Ria Salazar and Virginia Morie for obtaining their citizenship in the United States of America on December 14, 2022.  We heartily send our congratulations to you.  U.S. citizenship is something very prestigious to gain.  Congratulations on your achievement.  May your new citizenship bring you a positive and successful life.”  

They received a round of applause from those attending the meeting.
