On Friday, December 16, at 5:35 in the morning the  Marshall County 911 Dispatch Center received a call in reference to a single-vehicle rollover accident on U.S. 6 east of the west junction with State Road 106.

The caller advised the driver was out of the vehicle and complaining of pain.

Marshall County Dispatch requested Bremen Fire and EMS, Bremen Police, and Marshall County Units respond to the area.

An investigation by Deputy Prater revealed that 21-year-old Makaila E. Caudill of Rochester was traveling east on U.S. 6 in a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado when due to icy roadway conditions she lost control of her vehicle. As a result, her vehicle traveled off the roadway rolling several times down an embankment before coming to rest.

Makaila Caudill was transported to Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
