Members of the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety approved the request of Saint Michael Catholic Church to conduct the annual Holy Procession Walk in honor of the Virgin Mary on Sunday, December 11th beginning at 11 a.m.
Jeannine Xaver, representing the Catholic Church said the walk will begin at the Knights of Columbus and travel west on Berkley Street and then south on Polk Street to Jefferson Street, near the Coffee Lodge. From that point, the walk will head west again on Jefferson Street to Center Street where they will head north to Saint Michael Church.
Xaver said once the walk is approved by the Board of Public Works and Safety the church will seek the assistance of the County Sheriff for traffic control.
