Members of the Marshall County Council have a busy agenda for their meeting Monday morning at 9. 

Greg Hildebrand, Interim Director of the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation will present the County Council with a quarterly update and Sheriff Matt Hassel and First Sergeant Les McFarland will request to apply for a CHIRP Grant and a Domestic Cannabis Eradication & Suppression Grant.  The Health Department will request approval to apply for two grants the annual WIC Grant and the Emergency Preparedness Grant. 

The County Council will be making an appointment to the Lake of the Wood Regional Sewer District, Sandy Garrison, Director of the Museum will present her quarterly report, and Allie Shook from the Lifelong Learning Network will be on hand to answer any questions on the appropriation of $1.5 million for the public match for the READI Grant.  Marshall County Surveyor Craig Cultice will discuss an interim office manager/administrative assistant and the council will consider the additional appropriations and transfers.

The agenda also includes an appointment to the Argos Public Library, consideration of the 2023 Salary Ordinance, approval of the Job Classification and Compensation Maintenance Plan Procedures ordinance, Consideration of an ordinance Adopting Job Descriptions and an ordinance to establish a news fund for the 8825 Crisis CoAg COVID 19 Grant.   

The meeting is held in the 2nd floor meeting room of the County Building, begins at 9 a.m. and is open to the public.
