The Marshall County Commissioners meet Monday morning at 8:30 in their second-floor meeting room of the County Building. 

Agenda for the meeting includes a department report from Highway Superintendent Jason Peters whole Faith Freed from the County Health Department is seeking approval to apply for the 2023 (Women, Infants & Children) WIC Grant and the Emergency Preparedness Grant. 

Janis Holiday from the Council on Aging will present her quarterly report and H.R. Administrator Ann Anglin will discuss the 2023 Employee Benefits Insurance monthly costs.  Sheriff Matt Hassel will request to apply for a Comprehensive Highway Injury Reduction Program (CHIRP) Grant.  The program focuses federal funding assistance in areas that have a maximum probability of reducing death and injury on roadways. Indiana’s emphasis areas are alcohol, drug impairment, speed, occupant protection and youth.

 Marshall County Economic Development Corporation Interim Director Greg Hildebrand will present the quarterly update and the County Attorney and Auditor will present their reports.  The Commissioner will also consider the 2023 Contractual Services agreement between Purdue and Marshall County, decide on the Sick Bank recommendations for next year and consider Ordinance 2022-17 the Personnel Policies Handbook.
