The North Township Advisory Board and the LaPaz Town Council will be hosting a joint public meeting at 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 1st.
The special joint meeting will be to hear the preliminary financial impact analysis from a study that was completed by BakerTilly Municipal Advisors on a fire territory. The information presented will give the township and town a better understanding of what a fire territory would consist of and how it would impact the taxpayer.
Citizens of LaPaz are being encouraged to attend so they can understand how the fire territory will affect them. Both groups need to know what their constituent’s opinions are on the possibility.
This special joint meeting is open to the public and will be held at the LaPaz-North Township Fire Department
