Two citizens from Plymouth were arrested by city police on warrants.

Officer Krynock with the Plymouth Police Department was notified on Saturday, September 24th at about 3:45 in the afternoon of a person with an active warrant driving a vehicle in the city.

The officer located the vehicle being driven by 48-year-old Manfred Campbell of Plymouth in the 900 block of South Michigan Street.  Officer Krynock caught up to him as he was parking behind his residence.

Mr. Campbell did have an active warrant through Pulaski County.  He was taken into custody and lodged at the Marshall County Jail to await transfer.

On Monday, September 26th 29-year-old Ashley Haines of Plymouth turned herself in on a warrant for Misdemeanor Theft from a previous Plymouth Police Department case in August.  She was lodged in the County Jail.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
