The Town of LaPaz is pleased to announce the hiring of a new police officer. Bruce Gadziola started on Monday as the result of the Town of LaPaz obtaining a 3-year grant with an obligation to fund the position for another year.
Officer Gadziola grew up in Muncie and graduated from Notre Dame with a history degree with the intention of going to law school. He started his law enforcement career in 1988 as a reserve officer for the Town of Bremen and in 1990 became a full-time police officer for Bremen. He retired from the Bremen Police Department in October 2013 and went to work as an officer at Notre Dame. After 5 years at Notre Dame, he retired and has done other jobs until this opportunity presented itself.
Officer Gadziola is married and has 2 kids and lives in Plymouth.
