58-year-old Matthew R Gangloff of Goshen was taken into custody Friday evening, August 5th for Operating While Intoxicated. 

Officer Beatty with the Plymouth Police Department stopped Gangloff at Water and Washington Streets at 6:30. During the traffic stop it was determined Matthew Gangloff had outstanding warrants for Operating While Intoxicated out of Elkhart County.

Gangloff was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked in for OWI and held on a $1,500 cash bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
