Plymouth Police units were dispatched to 2535 North Michigan Street, the Economy Inn on Saturday, July 30th at 11:20 P.M. in reference to a domestic disturbance with a female screaming.

Arriving on the scene Plymouth Officers made contact with the two subjects in the room. During the investigation, it was learned that 33-year-old Timothy Taylor of Elkhart had an active warrant through Berrien County, Michigan for Domestic Battery and Confinement.

Mr. Taylor was placed under arrest for Domestic Battery for this new incident and for the active warrant out of Michigan. He was then transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on a $500 cash bond for his new charges and held without bond for the Michigan warrant.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made
