On Saturday, August 20, the North District of the United Methodist Churches of Indiana will host a family-friendly event, “Stronger Together.” This free, outdoor event on the lawn of Lakeville UMC (610 N. Michigan St., Lakeville, IN) will inspire all to renew and energize our beliefs that we are stronger together.
The event will begin at 11:00 a.m. and conclude by 4:00 p.m. During the course of the day there will be several worship and praise bands and speakers. Guests are invited to bring a blanket or lawn chairs and eat lunch at the food trucks present including The Wooden Pantry, Yellow Cat Cafe, and Crave on Taco, or bring a picnic lunch of their own. Plymouth Trinity Snow Cones will also be present with shaved ice.
Children will be delighted by the bounce houses, face painting, balloon artist, craft tables, playground, and more.
Stronger Together will also receive donations to Bashor Children’s Home for back-to-school needs during the event.
