Anna Kietzman, President of Heartland Artists, stopped by Plymouth Rotary on Monday, July 11th to update the Club on the Gallery’s many artistic opportunities and the upcoming event Arts

in the Street. The event, now featuring over 30 area artists, according to Kietzman, will take place on July 30th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in downtown Plymouth. There will also be food, drinks, and entertainment for all ages during the day.

Kietzman emphasized that the Heartland Artists are more than just a Gallery at the corner of LaPorte and Michigan. They are a local artist collective creating, teaching, and contributing to quality of life in Marshall County. “There is data showing that the arts make communities better places to live,” she said.

Plymouth Rotary Club meets every Monday for lunch and networking from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at Opie’s Deli in Plymouth. They are a diverse group of community members who collaborate on fun community service projects that benefit their local community. Find them on Facebook at Plymouth Rotary.
