A Flood Watch has been issued for Marshall County and lasts until Wednesday evening.   Heavy Rain, 1-2 inches per hour is possible.   The rain will continue into this afternoon causing ponding on road surfaces and flooding of low-lying areas prone to flooding is possible.

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for most of Northern Indiana which includes Marshall County.  Additional heavy rainfall may create new flooding or exacerbate ongoing flooding today. Flash flooding may also be a threat.

Marshall County Emergency Management Agency reminds drivers, not to drive through moving or standing water.  If you can’t see the road, turn around and find an alternate route.  Never drive around barricades or signs posted with “ROAD CLOSED” or “HIGH WATER”It only takes 6 inches of flowing water to sweep you off your feet.
