Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Superior Construction Co will begin bridge deck overlay projects on Jackson Rd over U.S. 31 and U.S. 6 over the Yellow River on or after Tuesday, July 5.
Jackson Rd will be closed between Main St and St. Joseph St. The official detour will follow Main St, Kern Rd and Miami Rd.
U.S. 6 will be closed between Miami Trail and State Road 331 near Bremen. The detour will follow State Road 331 and State Road 106.
Both sections of roadway will be closed for approximately two weeks while this bridge preventative maintenance work is ongoing.
