PLYMOUTH- Lifetime resident Nila J. Greenlee, 90, passed away Saturday evening on June 18, 2022.

She was born in Plymouth on October 27, 1931, to Russell Thurl and Irene (Hite) Hendricks. She graduated from Bourbon High School.

In Inwood, Indiana, Nila married Roger Greenlee. The couple would attend Inwood Methodist Church in their younger years. He would proceed her in death in 2002.

Nila worked for the State Echange Bank for 25 years and as Speedway as a cashier for 10 years before her retirement. She enjoyed ceramics and attended Plymouth Church of the Brethren.

Nila is survived by her grandchildren; Jordan Taylor, Michelle Crandall, and Josh and Ben Morgan; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter Maria Morgan and son David Greenlee; her parents; and her brothers, Wayne and Robert Hendricks.

“She was stubborn to the end.”

Private services will be held at a later date with burial in the New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
