The Plymouth High School Valedictorian for the Class of 2022 is Miss Aubrey Vervynckt. Aubrey is the daughter of James and Laura Vervynckt.
Aubrey ends her high school career with a grade point average of 4.16 on a 4 point scale.
In addition to meeting all local and state requirements for graduation, Aubrey leaves PHS having earned 45 college credits.
Throughout High School, Aubrey participated in Soccer, Tennis, Student Council, National Honor Society, Spanish Club, Seed Club, Sunshine Society, Riley Dance Marathon, LEAD Club, Art Club and Pep Club. In addition Aubrey served as a Class Officer and Student Council Member.
Aubrey earned the following awards as a PHS student: the Indiana Association of School Principals Rising Star of Indiana Award, Membership on the Indiana Academic All State Tennis Team and Membership on the Academic All State Soccer Team.
Scholarships received by Aubrey include the Kizer Award presented annually to the outstanding senior female athlete, the Scholar Athlete of the Year Scholarship, the Knights of Columbus Scholarship, the Spanish Club Scholarship, the Tri Kappa Katerine Garn Memorial Scholarship, the Stanley Scholarship and the Heiser Scholarship.
Aubrey will attend Bethel College where she will major in Mathematics Education.
The Plymouth High School Salutatorian for the Class of 2022 is Mr. Zane Lark. Zane is the son of Joseph and Kristin Lark.
Zane leaves PHS with a grade point average of 4.14 on a 4 point scale.
In addition to meeting all local and state requirements for graduation, Zane earned 39 college credits.
Throughout High School, Zane participated in Basketball, Track and Field, Student Council, Key Club, Chemistry Club and he was a member of the National Honor Society.
Zane earned the following awards as a PHS student: The Coach’s award for Track and Field, The Advanced Placement Scholar Award and The PHS Academic Excellence Award. In addition, Zanes’ combined achievements in athletics and in the classroom earned his placement on the IBCA Basketball Academic All State Honorable Mention Team, the IATCCC Track and Field Academic All State Team, and the Northern Lakes Conference All Academic Team.
Scholarships received by Zane include The Plymouth Athletic Booster Club Scholarship, the Eugene and Florence Stanley Scholarship, the Key Club Leadership Scholarship, the Marjorie Giffin Carothers Memorial Scholarship, the Samuel Elliot Perkins IV Memorial Scholarship and the Purdue Alumni Club of Marshall County Club Scholarship.
Zane will be attending Purdue University where he will major in Pharmaceutical Science.
