The Marshall County Commissioners meet Monday morning at 8:30 in the second-floor meeting room of the County Building.  The agenda for the meeting includes an update from Midwest Maintenance on the Court House and Clocktower renovations.

Jason Peters, Superintendent of the County Highway Department will discuss the operations of his department and USI will be in attendance to discuss Bridge #1 on Ule Trail and Bridge #73 on King Road. 

Laura Walls, Executive Director of the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation will be on hand with her quarterly report, and County Plan Director Ty Adley will present during a public hearing, an update to the county’s sign ordinance and changes to the Data Centers ordinance.

Sandy Dunfee from the County Health Department will request approval to apply for the Schools Reopening Grant and Greg Hildebrand and Allie Shook from the Lifelong Learning Center will discuss the creation of a Career Innovation Center.

Also on the agenda for the commissioners is the County Attorney’s Report, Auditor’s Report, Public Comments, and Commissioners Items where the Guard 911 Alert system for schools will be discussed along with the Congressional School Fund Report and the American Rescue Plan funds. 

The Commissioner’s meeting is open to the public and comments and questions are always welcome.
