On May 18, 2022, Dennis McKeen submitted his resignation as executive director of The REES which was accepted by the executive board. McKeen cited family demands as his basis for him leaving the position he’s held for less than a year.
“We certainly understand Dennis’ reason for resigning,” said co-chairman Randy Danielson. “We wish him the best in his future endeavors closer to home and family.”
According to Danielson’s co-chair, Donna Pontius, the show must go on and plans are on track for the grand re-opening of The REES on October 1, 2022 adding: “We are in the process of finding a replacement for Dennis, and although it will be a difficult process, the board is up to the task.
