On Wednesday morning, May 25, at approximately 1:00 A.M, A Marshall County Deputy stopped a vehicle in the area of Michigan Road and Veterans Parkway.

A passenger in the vehicle, 32-year-old Austin Hendrix of North Michigan Street in Plymouth was found to have warrants for his arrest.

Upon taking him into custody, officers located paraphernalia and suspected methamphetamine on his person. Hendrix was arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail. There he was booked and lodged for Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of Paraphernalia and held on a $1,500 cash bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
