On Monday evening, May 23rd about 6:45 Plymouth Police Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Ferndale Avenue regarding a complaint of shots fired.

Arriving on the scene officers apprehended the suspect, 22-year-old Dennis Arnold of Plymouth a short distance from the original scene of the complaint.

No one was injured during the incident.

Dennis Arnold was incarcerated at the Marshall County Jail on the charge of Criminal Recklessness with a Firearm.

This case is still under investigation. Plymouth Police were assisted by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, Indiana State Police, and the Plymouth Fire Department.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
