County Attorney Updates Commissioners on Regional Sewer District Project

Marshall County Attorney Jim Clevenger updated the County Commissioners on the Regional Sewer District Project.

The petition and exhibits were filed with the state on May 2^nd.  The County Attorney also had the petition and exhibits delivered to the County Commissioners, County Council, as well as the Township Trustees and school corporations in the county on May 10^th.  In addition, copies of the petition and exhibits were furnished to the public libraries in the county, the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation, and the County Health Department so that they may be inspected by the public. 

The Indiana Department of Environmental Management has begun its process. 

Attorney Clevenger said, “I reached out to special counsel to learn more about the timing of the IDEM process.  We exchanged emails but we did not discuss the next steps in the procedure.  I will reach out to Kim Blanchet again.”
