On Tuesday, May 17th at approximately 9:30 PM Officer Arnold with the Plymouth Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near the intersection of North Oak Drive and Markley Drive.   

The driver, 22-year-old Rylan Martin of Plymouth was arrested for OWI with a prior conviction, OWI endangerment with a BAC of .15 or greater, disorderly conduct, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The passenger in the vehicle, 19-year-old Austin Reed of Plymouth was arrested for the illegal consumption of an alcoholic beverage.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
