Members of the Plymouth Common Council approved a Commercial Revitalization Rebate Grant for George Schricker during Monday night’s meeting.
Schricker told members of the council he was awarded a grant 2 years ago, but COVID delayed the work he wanted to do on his roof at 113 North Michigan. George presented two quotes and recommended the Morris & Sons quote at $15,535. He also wanted to add a new skylight lens with an additional cost of $718.
Schricker asked if the grant could be open-ended because there may be additional work needed once the contractor gets started. The city council told him he could come back for an addition to the grant with proof of the additional work needed.
The City Council approved a 20% Commercial Revitalization Rebate Grant for Mr. Schricker.
