On Sunday, March 13 at approximately 3:30 in the morning the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was notified of an unknown injury accident in the area of Oak Road and 6th Road.

Officer Jordan Rans was first to arrive on scene.  He was able to determine that the driver, Olivia R. Rice, 23-year-old of Tyner had been operating the vehicle and she was not injured. It was also believed that alcohol was a factor in the crash, so an OWI investigation was conducted. At the conclusion of this OWI investigation Olivia Rice was arrested and lodged in the Marshall County Jail for Operating A Vehicle While Intoxicated of 15% or higher, Operating A Vehicle While Intoxicated – Endangering, and Operating A Vehicle While Intoxicated. She was issued a Superior Court II date of March 29 for her initial hearing.
