Today, U.S. Senator Todd Young (R-Ind.) spoke at a press conference about the Biden Administration’s ongoing efforts to rejoin the Iran Deal:
“No deal is better than a very, very bad deal. What would such a bad deal look like? It would be a deal that shortens the time for Iran’s breakout nuclear capability. That endangers our friends in Israel. That destabilizes the entire Middle East and probably beyond. That’s the sort of deal that’s being contemplated right now.”
“This deal, that the Biden Administration has negotiated alongside the likes of Putin’s Russia and the Chinese Communist Party, is already being described as a significant victory for both of those countries. This deal will bring great power competition to the Middle East, while paving the way to an enriched and nuclear armed Iran,” said Senator Young during the press conference.
