Dorothy M. Zehner, age 95 of Plymouth, IN passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022 in Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home of Plymouth, IN.
Dorothy was born the daughter of Robert and Edna (Pike) Hart on September 11, 1926 in Plymouth, IN. She was a resident of the area all her life and was a self-employed farmer. She married Carl A. Zehner on December 24, 1942 in South Bend, IN with Rev. Charles Taylor performing the ceremony. Carl preceded Dorothy in death on September 12, 1994.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Beverly Green of Plymouth, IN; her sons: Roger (Mary Jane) Zehner of Dunlap, IA; Randy (Wanda) Zehner of Texas; William Zehner of Omaha, NE; Richard Zehner of Morrow, GA; her 32 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl; and her sisters: Marie Lowry and Zora Carey.
Graveside service will be held on Monday, March 7, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in New Oak Hill Cemetery (Plymouth, IN) with Kristin Harp, on-staff pastor presiding.
