Members of the Plymouth Common Council passed an ordinance amendment for the 2022 Salary Ordinance during their meeting Monday evening, February 28th

City Attorney Sean Surrisi presented the ordinance amendment for second and third reading.  He said the change will create a civilian paramedic training position within the Plymouth Fire Department.

A few weeks ago, members of the Plymouth City Council were informed of the need to create the position because the civilian paramedic trainer is over the age of 35 and therefore is ineligible to join the Police and Fire Pension.

The City Council passed the ordinance amendment on second and third reading Monday evening.
