On Friday, February 25, the CDC released a statement that masks are no longer required on buses or vans operated by public or private school systems. This includes early care and education/child care programs.

The CDC is making this change to align with updated mask guidance that no longer recommends universal indoor mask wearing in K-12 schools and early education settings.

The Marshall County Health Department said in the news release, “School systems at their discretion may choose to require the wearing of masks on buses or vans.”
