On Sunday, February 27th about 5 p.m., Plymouth Police units were dispatched to a male subject shoplifting items in the Plymouth Walmart.
Walmart loss prevention attempted to stop 51-year-old Matthew Rice from Walkerton. He did not comply with employees.
Rice also resisted the lawful commands of police at the scene. He was then detained and found to be a felon in possession of a firearm and possession of a firearm without a permit.
