Here is the latest update (8 a.m.) regarding the Winter Weather event for Thursday Evening into early Friday morning.
- This will NOT be a major winter storm event.
- The National Weather Service is projecting 2-4 inches with some isolated locations receiving 5 inches of snow.
- Dropping temperatures Wednesday will freeze water standing on roads and low-lying areas
The threat from the weather event is roads will be snow covered, slick and hazardous Thursday evening and early on Friday morning. Road condition will lead to additional slide-offs and accidents are likely to occur.
