Marshall County Circuit Court Judge Curtis Palmer announced Wednesday afternoon that masks are no longer required to enter the Marshall County CourtHouse.

In his release it stated, “Marshall County has achieved orange status on the state’s COVID dashboard due to lowering our average weekly new COVID cases and lowering our overall test positivity rates.

Although wearing masks in the courthouse remains optional, they are no longer required, effective immediately.”

Judge Palmer also asked attorney Berdahl to notify members of the local bar association about the policy change for masking.
