INDOT Wednesday Mid-day Update:
The snow continues, as do hazardous road conditions! INDOT has had some reports that roads are better than people expected which is a huge credit to the INDOT Snow Fighters. They are still operating under a full call out and have over 150 trucks out in the district.
East to west roadways are experiencing some issues with drifting, which will lead to visibility issues and roads becoming quickly recovered with snow even if a plow has been through recently.
We recommend avoiding all unnecessary travel today, as the snow will continue through the evening hours. Please plan to slow down if you are out on the roadways and be prepared for a lengthy and sloppy afternoon commute.
