On Sunday, January 30th at approximately 8:45 PM Officer Arnold with the Plymouth Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near the intersection of North Oak Drive and West Harrison Street.

The driver of the vehicle, 29-year-old Leeandra Rodriguez of Plymouth was arrested for OWI with a prior conviction in 7 years and possession of marijuana.  She was lodged in the Marshall County Jail on a $1,500 cash bond.  Rodriguez will appear in Marshall Superior Court II on March 1st for her initial hearing. 

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
