Plymouth Police were dispatched to a Domestic Battery at 881 Lincolnway Friday morning, January 21st about 5:30. 

After forcing entry through a barricaded door, officers located the suspect and victim inside the residence.

During an investigation, it was determined that 33-year-old Christopher McDonald of the Lincolnway address had battered the female and attempted to choke her.

Christopher McDonald was transported to the Marshall County Jail and incarcerated on the charge of Domestic Battery and held on a $1,500 cash bond.  His initial hearing was scheduled for February 15th in Marshall Superior Court III.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
