On January 19th, American households can begin to order these at-home tests. Families can go to COVIDTests.gov to order them and shipping will take place 7-12 days of placing the order.
Starting January 15th, private health insurance companies are required to cover at-home COVID-19 tests for free. Contact your private health insurance carrier for specific steps that must be followed to receive the free at-home tests
